Step-by-Step Guide to Withdrawing and Unstaking on Firelight in Phase 1

Firelight is set to launch soon, and the excitement is palpable. As a way to prepare you for the launch, we’ve created a comprehensive to walk you through the process of making a withdrawal, and claiming your tokens.

How the Withdrawal Process Works

Retrieving your assets involves two stages. In order to unstake, you must first withdraw your assets. Initiate the process to receive your token, which will be stXRP in Phase 1 of the launch of the protocol. After a mandatory cooldown period, you’ll be able to claim your underlying collateral.

Stage 1: Initiating Your Withdrawal

Signal your intent to unstake and specify the amount.

Go to the Withdrawals tab.

2. Click the Withdraw Funds button in the top-right corner. A Withdraw stXRP pop-up will appear. Enter the amount of stXRP you wish to withdraw, or click MAX to automatically fill in your entire stXRP balance.

3. Your connected wallet will prompt you to approve the transaction. This transaction burns your stXRP and officially starts the withdrawal process.

Stage 2: Monitoring and Claiming Your Funds

After initiating the withdrawal, monitor its progress and return to claim your funds once they are ready.

5. Your withdrawal request will now appear as a new row in the My Withdrawals table. It will initially appear as Pending.

6. Wait until the withdrawal completion time period has passed. There will be an estimated time of arrival (ETA) provided. Once this time period is complete, there will be a change in status to indicate this.

7. Approve the final transaction in your wallet and return to the Withdrawals tab after the cooldown period to complete your claim and receive your FXRP.
